Why this fits: The goofy supernatural mishaps and quick jokes in Let's Go Kaikigumi suit a light anime comedy where an oddball partnership keeps every outing lively. Here, a rookie cop tries to keep his psychic, nap-loving partner focused on the job, trading ghostly scares for petty psychic tricks and cartoon crime cases.
Why this fits: Let's Go Kaikigumi makes supernatural trouble fun through eerie encounters, lively banter, and a team learning to work together; Agent from Above brings that mix into darker territory. Its trio faces ghost cases and demon fights across a modern Taiwanese city, with lighter moments between bursts of danger and martial-arts action.
Why this fits: The spooky surprises and playful group banter in Let's Go Kaikigumi also make a bright zombie adventure an easy fit. In #I'm Looking for a Zombie, friends travel through an unfamiliar, dangerous city, balancing goofy discoveries with the warmth of sticking together; the scares are more about survival than ghostly encounters.
Let's go KAIKIGUMI turns ghost-hunting scares into laughs through a frightened recruit and a fearless leader; Dara-san of the Reiwa Era also makes eerie folklore funny, but centers on siblings befriending a lonely serpent deity. Its gentle, cozy friendship comedy is less about paranormal jobs and more about awkward conversations and time spent together.
The spooky jobs and comic mishaps in Let's go KAIKIGUMI make supernatural trouble feel playful; Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! offers a lighter route through quick, self-contained gags about detectives and their criminal rivals. Expect everyday bickering and cartoonish reactions rather than haunted encounters or an ongoing team adventure.
