What to Expect

PremiereLens read

Black Torch pairs fast-moving ninja combat with a supernatural mystery that unfolds through new threats and revelations. Jiro’s shinobi training gives the action its shape, while the hidden fight around him turns each encounter into more than a physical contest. The tone stays youthful and adventurous without making the danger in those fights feel incidental.

Rago is more than a strange encounter in the forest. The black cat becomes Jiro’s companion, and their growing partnership brings humor and loyalty to an increasingly dangerous adventure. Jiro’s ability to communicate with animals gives that bond a concrete foundation, while discoveries about the strange world around them keep their story moving beyond the next fight.
