Taste-matched follow-ups
If you want more misfiring superpowers, quirky neighborhood comedy, and found-family adventure, begin with the strongest matches and keep going. Every pick is a recent premiere or a returning season.
Closest matches first, then broader nearby picks.
Why this fits: The Wonderfools and Cashero make superhero action fun by giving ordinary people powers that complicate everyday life, not just the big fights. The Wonderfools gets laughs from abilities that misfire, while Cashero’s hero has to spend cash to stay strong, bringing neighborhood rescues and scrappy team camaraderie into the mix.
Why this fits: The Wonderfools and One Punch Man turn superhero spectacle into comedy, with oddball heroes whose powers and reactions keep danger from feeling too solemn. The Wonderfools leans on neighbors fumbling with abilities that barely work, while One Punch Man lands huge monster battles with its hero’s bored, deadpan shrug.
Why this fits: The Wonderfools and Spooky in Love mix supernatural trouble with playful character comedy, keeping eerie moments lively rather than grim. The Wonderfools finds humor in neighbors whose powers misfire as disappearances threaten their city, while Spooky in Love brings bickering banter, gentle ghost scares, and a sweet romance to its mysteries.
The Wonderfools turns misfiring superpowers into neighborhood comedy, and Gen V also follows young heroes whose abilities complicate their lives. Its campus rivalries and buried secrets bring a much darker edge, with bloody violence and body horror replacing the Wonderfools’ lighter ensemble misadventures.
The Wonderfools makes supernatural powers a source of comic mishaps, while Take Charge of My Heart uses an electric woman’s abilities to spark an awkward romance. Expect flirty courtship and gentle fantasy humor rather than neighborhood teamwork, missing-person mysteries, and danger.
The Wonderfools finds comedy in a mismatched neighborhood ensemble, while Night Shift for Cuties builds its laughs around two minimart coworkers whose friendship turns into rivalry. This is a brighter, lower-danger coming-of-age story, trading supernatural threats for K-pop schemes, jealousy, and hurt feelings.
