Cashero builds its superhero premise around a genuinely unusual mechanic: Kang Sang Woong grows stronger the more cash he physically carries, which means his power is always contingent and earned in the moment rather than fixed by birthright or cosmic accident. That rule-bound logic runs through the action sequences and gives the genre spectacle a grounded, almost scrappy quality. The other heroes operate on a similar street level, protecting ordinary people in ordinary situations rather than staging world-ending confrontations.

As a miniseries, the story moves with real momentum and no padding to fill a long season order. Seoul is the backdrop, and the production leans into its texture rather than treating the city as interchangeable urban scenery. The ensemble carries personal consequences alongside the action, so the show keeps one foot in K-Drama emotional territory even as it delivers comic-book set pieces.
