Peacemaker(2022)

Peacemaker mixes gleefully bloody superhero fights with raunchy banter, heavy profanity and a hero whose swagger far outstrips his good sense. Glam-metal needle drops and dance-number opening credits fit the loud, silly tone, while parasitic aliens hiding among ordinary people give the action a grisly edge. Episodes carry one continuous story, moving quickly between slapstick, violence and sudden sincerity.

His bigoted father leaves Peacemaker with more to untangle than an alien mission. The question of whether he can become a better man gives the crude clowning a bruised, personal undercurrent. Misfit co-workers and a loyal pet eagle bring warmth into that struggle, building an odd found family around someone who is still figuring out how to change.
