Hotel Costiera plants an ex-marine inside one of the world's most luxurious hotels on the Positano coast, then finds its energy in the collision between those two things. Daniel De Luca is trained for combat and crisis; the hotel runs on discretion and polish. The show mines that gap for action, laughs, and the occasional genuine tension, moving between physical problem-solving and the absurdities of high-end hospitality with enough ease that the tonal shifts feel deliberate rather than uneven.

Positano itself is more than backdrop. The sun on the water, the cliffside architecture, the particular glamour of that stretch of coastline, all of it gives the show a warm visual texture that softens the harder edges of the thriller material. De Luca's return to Italy also carries a personal charge; this is the place he grew up, not just a posting, which gives his competence a layer of something more complicated than pure professionalism.
