Why this fits: New Bandits and Dear Killer Nannies: Criado por sicarios both put family bonds beside the danger of a criminal world, with warmth that never quite feels safe. New Bandits brings siblings together amid robberies and old secrets, while Dear Killer Nannies finds childhood games and bedtime routines shadowed by the violence around the family.
Why this fits: New Bandits makes crime feel personal, with family loyalty tested by dangerous choices and violence close at hand. Rulers of Fortune brings that same family pressure to Rio’s gambling world, where siblings, spouses, and parents can be caught in shifting loyalties; its crowded city setting feels more urban than New Bandits’ sun-baked frontier.
Why this fits: New Bandits and Crooks keep family ties at the center while crime brings danger, fast-moving trouble, and hard choices into everyday life. New Bandits leans into outlaw history and sibling bonds, while Crooks races through heists and close escapes with a darkly comic odd-couple partnership that makes the danger feel lighter.
New Bandits turns family ties and desperate choices into a dangerous outlaw story; M.I.A. brings that pressure to a young woman pursuing revenge in Miami’s cartel underworld. Its neon-lit city and grief-driven coming-of-age are a more contemporary, urban route into crime than New Bandits’ sun-baked frontier and robber gang.
New Bandits makes family danger part of its crime action, and NCIS: Tony & Ziva puts a reunited family directly in the path of a relentless pursuit. Expect European chases and playful couple banter alongside the danger, rather than New Bandits’ outlaw legacy, robberies, and moral compromise.
New Bandits uses a remote desert setting and buried family history to deepen its crime drama; Treasure & Dirt turns that isolation into a murder mystery among opal miners. Its steady investigation and shifting suspects are more procedural and bleak, with a gruesome killing replacing New Bandits’ robberies and action.
