The Marlow Murder Club(2024)

The Marlow Murder Club gives its murder mystery a bright, gently comic texture without making the danger disappear. Witness interviews, clues and red herrings keep the investigation moving at a brisk, tidy pace, with a clear trail toward the reveal. Dry banter lightens the hunt, but getting closer to the truth also means getting closer to a killer who could strike again.

Judith, Suzie and Becks bring mismatched temperaments to their amateur detective work, and their affectionate friendship develops alongside the case. Their collaboration with Tanika’s official investigation leaves room for friendly rivalry between the women and the police. The small English riverside town gives that mix of suspicion, warmth and mild peril a cozy setting.
