Pro Bono(2025)

Pro Bono follows a former judge, sharp and efficiency-obsessed, who lands in the unglamorous world of public interest law after a personal crisis upends a career built on ambition and results. The courtroom procedural structure gives each episode a concrete problem to solve, but the comedy comes from watching someone whose instincts are wired for winning navigate cases where winning looks very different.

The boss-employee dynamic carries a lot of the friction here; the gap between how this protagonist expects a workplace to run and how pro bono law actually operates generates both the humor and the gradual warmth. Client relationships add another layer, pulling the story away from pure workplace comedy into something with a bit more emotional weight underneath.
