Only Murders in the Building(2021)

Each season plants a new murder inside the same New York apartment building, and the three neighbors investigating it are amateurs in every sense: enthusiastic, overconfident, and frequently wrong. The comedy and the mystery pull against each other in a way that keeps both alive, because the jokes land harder when the stakes are real and the suspense holds tighter when the investigators keep fumbling it.

Deception is layered in from the start, with each episode adding a new misdirection so that the picture keeps shifting right up to the finale. The building itself functions almost like a fourth character, its corridors and residents feeding fresh suspects and secrets into a case that only looks simpler the more the trio thinks they understand it.
