Golden Axe(2026)

Golden Axe is an animated fantasy quest where the comedy and the action come from the same source: Hampton Squib, an adventurer whose enthusiasm for heroism is matched only by his inability to survive it. He keeps getting folded into a team of genuinely capable warriors, and the friction that produces drives both the humor and the forward momentum of each episode.

Death Adder refuses to stay dead, which means the quest never reaches a clean resolution. Every time the group manages to put him down, the threat resets, and the team has to regroup around their own dysfunction as much as around the enemy. That cycling structure keeps the pressure specific and recurring rather than building toward a single climax.
