Every Minute Counts(2024)

Every Minute Counts gives its rescue scenes a harsh physical urgency: dust-choked streets, collapsed hospitals, and people digging through concrete by hand while someone below may still be alive. The drama moves between dread and desperate hope, with each rescue offering relief without erasing the grief around it. Survival depends on exhausting, dangerous work rather than grand gestures.

A journalist’s hunger for a big story and a doctor’s unresolved guilt complicate their efforts to help. Alongside a family searching for loved ones, they face choices that can change more than their immediate circumstances. Strangers and co-workers form bonds quickly in the wreckage, making the rescue effort a story of people learning to rely on one another under terrible pressure.
