A doctor returning to work after a violent attack that wiped out 12 years of memory has to navigate a hospital full of colleagues, patients, and relationships he cannot place. Layered on top of that personal disorientation is a professional scandal involving a new medication, so the pressure comes from two directions at once: reconstructing a self and surviving a workplace crisis that may have roots in the life he has forgotten.

Every relationship he encounters carries a history he has to piece together in real time, which gives the drama a compressed, confrontational quality. A girlfriend, co-workers, a boss, patients, all of them know a version of him he cannot access. That gap between who he was and who he is now drives the story forward through surprise reversals and emotional confrontations that stack quickly across episodes.
