The Terror: Devil in Silver(2026)

New Hyde Psychiatric Hospital is the kind of place built to make you doubt yourself, and the show uses every corridor and locked ward to press that feeling into something genuinely suffocating. The horror here operates on two tracks at once: the procedural cruelty of a system that has decided one man does not deserve to be believed, and something stranger moving through the institution that cannot be explained away by paperwork or diagnosis.

Unreliable authority figures do a lot of quiet work throughout. Doctors who should protect become obstacles, and the line between deliberate institutional malice and something more monstrous stays productively blurred. The pacing is slow and deliberate, letting confinement itself become the primary source of dread before the supernatural element sharpens into focus.
