Dig(2026)

Dig pairs archaeological mystery with the messy comedy of a crew whose members have very different levels of dedication. Serious excavation shares space with summer-job indifference, giving the adventure a lively, scrappy tone. The buried discovery brings real danger into that mismatch, with international intrigue pushing the story beyond the everyday chaos of the site.

The four women work among committed archaeologists and less-committed college students at a dig in Greece. That contrast gives the group more to navigate than the mystery alone: not everyone approaches the work with the same seriousness. As the discovery draws the team into a conspiracy, their uneven commitment becomes a comic counterpoint to consequences far bigger than anyone’s summer plans.
