What to Expect

PremiereLens read

Delusion pairs a murder mystery with the painful uncertainty of fading memory. The search for answers is complicated by a suspect who may be unable to explain what happened, even to himself. Its suspense is emotionally heavy: each unanswered question leaves a daughter trying to distinguish what she knows about her father from what she can actually establish.

Dark rumors spread through the small town as the teacher pursues the truth, making trust another obstacle in the investigation. Her loyalty to her father does not erase her doubts, and his worsening dementia makes those doubts harder to resolve. The family drama and the whodunit pull against each other, with a parent's decline complicating the effort to determine his innocence or guilt.
