What to Expect

PremiereLens read

Vertex Force builds its anime action around an uneven fight: its young protagonist has to enter combat without the inherited power others possess. Battles escalate, but the power gap keeps his inadequacy close to the surface. The science fiction takes shape through the mysterious Engine, a piece of family technology whose secrets matter more than an elaborate tour of the wider world.

His sister’s secret use of their father’s Engine makes their rivalry more than a contest between siblings. She carries a legacy he has been left out of, turning the threat to their family into a painful test of his ability to help. As the fighting reaches beyond the household, that private imbalance gives the larger conflict a personal cost.
