The Last Frontier(2025)

The Last Frontier runs on a single, immediate problem: a prison transport plane has gone down in the Alaskan wilderness, and U.S. Marshal Frank Remnick is the law on the ground. No backup is coming, the terrain is brutal, and the inmates are violent. Each episode moves through incident rather than institution, trading courtroom procedure for physical problem-solving under conditions that punish every mistake.

Alaska itself functions as an active obstacle. The cold, the distance, and the sheer emptiness strip Remnick of the resources a marshal would normally rely on, so every decision carries a direct cost. Running low on time or cover is not an abstraction here; it shapes how each confrontation plays out and how much room for error actually exists.
