The Drop: A Snowfall Saga(2026)

Set in 1990s Los Angeles, this crime drama runs two pressures simultaneously: the gang wars bleeding into the streets and the record labels circling the music those same streets produced. Wanda and Leon are trying to push West Coast rap into the mainstream, and every step forward costs something, loyalty, safety, or control over the work itself.

Corporate opportunism here is not abstract; it shows up in contracts, in who gets paid and who gets cut out, in the gap between an art form's origins and what the industry wants to sell. The violence outside and the exploitation inside are not separate threats. They compress around the same people trying to build something real, which gives the story its particular, grinding weight.
