Sterling Point is a slow-burn mystery that earns its suspense through accumulation rather than incident. The twins inherit a lake island from a grandfather they barely knew, and the show treats that inheritance as a puzzle box: each episode peels back another layer of what the family chose not to say, and why.

The island itself functions as a kind of pressure chamber.
