St. Denis Medical(2024)

St. Denis Medical turns small hospital crises into a half-hour mockumentary full of deadpan asides and quick, dry jokes. Doctors, nurses, and administrators speak straight to the camera, giving their frustrations an outlet beyond the halls. The humor stays good-natured even as scarce money and too few staff make ordinary work harder than it should be.

Bosses and employees bicker like a dysfunctional family, while friendships between co-workers soften the friction. Caring for patients is still the job, not just a backdrop for workplace absurdity, and the staff’s concern for one another keeps the chaos warm rather than bitter. Each episode brings a fresh little crisis without losing that sense of people trying their best.
