My Hero Academia mixes lively superhero school comedy with action that grows louder and more urgent. Training sequences and tournament showdowns turn students’ unusual powers into chances to compete, clash, and push beyond their limits. Friendly rivalries share space with villain attacks, while shouting, tears, and underdog heroics give the battles an unabashedly earnest tone.
The classmates’ odd abilities and distinct personalities bring variety to the academy scenes, with humor threaded through the larger, continuing story. Becoming a hero means more than mastering a power: sacrifice and the responsibility of representing hope give the school ambitions serious consequences. Darker turns complicate the rousing adventure without leaving its comedy behind.

The story of Saitama, a hero that does it just for fun & can defeat his enemies with a single punch.
My Hero Academia makes hero training and oversized battles fun through earnest classmates, colorful powers, and villains who turn school days into spectacle. One Punch Man brings that same lively superhero action, but its bored hero and deadpan jokes make even world-ending fights feel absurdly casual.
From the world of The Boys comes Gen V, which explores the training of the first generation of superheroes to know about Compound V, and that their powers were injected into them, rather than God-given. These young, competitive heroes put their physical and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school's highly coveted top ranking. They quickly come to learn that ambition comes with sacrifice, and the difference between right and wrong is not as clear as they once believed. When the university's dark secrets come to light, the students must come to grips with what type of heroes they are going to become.
My Hero Academia turns young heroes’ training, rivalries, and choices into energetic school drama, with classmates learning what kind of heroes they want to be. Gen V also centers competitive students with powers, but trades the warmth and hopeful action for bloody violence, sharp comedy, and campus secrets.
Chronicles the struggles of the cursed Joestar bloodline against the forces of evil. Beginning in 1880, Part I follows Jonathan Joestar as he matures with and eventually combats his adoptive brother, the cunning, merciless Dio Brando. Set in 1938, Part II follows the misadventures of Joseph Joestar, grandson of Jonathan, as he masters the Ripple in order to combat hostile, ancient super-beings named the Pillar Men; creators of the Stone Mask. Part III follows Jotaro Kujo and his group as they journey from Tokyo to Cairo to save his mother's life by defeating his family's resurrected archenemy, Dio. In Part IV, an Arrow manifesting latent Stand abilities travels throughout Morioh, Japan in 1999; as high-schooler Josuke Higashikata (illegitimate son of Joseph) and friends seek out the culprit of a series of decade-long homicides. Set in 2001, Part V follows Giorno Giovanna, son of Dio, and his ambition to rise within the Neapolitan mafia by subverting its most powerful gang: Passione.
My Hero Academia makes its colorful powers and team loyalty a source of bold, high-energy battles, with young heroes pushing past their limits. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure shares that theatrical action and larger-than-life cast, while its duels hinge on strange abilities and clever tricks, with a more flamboyant, unpredictable sense of humor.
