Miss Governor(2025)

Miss Governor is a political workplace comedy that keeps its humor grounded in situation rather than satire. Mississippi's first Black lieutenant governor is trying to build something real in office while her boss actively works against her progress, and the show squeezes most of its comedy from that daily friction: the small indignities, the blocked initiatives, the sense that the institution itself was not designed with her in mind.

Her family refuses to respect the boundary between home and office, and their intrusions tend to arrive at exactly the wrong moment. That collision between professional ambition and domestic chaos drives the escalation, with each episode layering new complications before the previous ones have fully resolved.
