What to Expect

PremiereLens read

Magic is a debt to be collected in this fantasy revenge comedy, and Lent’s payback is pointedly petty. His former allies face a systematic reckoning as the support skill they dismissed becomes a weapon against them. The action escalates alongside his growing power, but the humor keeps its spiteful edge: reclaiming what he lent means making those who underestimated him pay interest, too.

Lent’s fairy partner brings mischief and bickering to a campaign driven by anger. Their partnership adds a playful friction without turning his revenge into a gentler adventure. As he dismantles his former companions one by one, each confrontation gives his resentment a concrete target and his newfound power another chance to turn old dependence against them.

Kicked out of the group, Lent is furious...until he discovers a hidden power to his Gift. Strongest Match

One Punch Man

ComedySci-Fi & Fantasy

The story of Saitama, a hero that does it just for fun & can defeat his enemies with a single punch.

Why this pick

Magic Repo Man and One Punch Man make over-the-top power funny by letting a hero’s frustration cut through the spectacle. Lent’s anger fuels petty revenge with help from a mischievous fairy, while Saitama’s effortless wins flatten grand villain entrances into punchlines; One Punch Man is more openly satirical and less focused on settling scores.

The Villager of Level 999

TV Tokyo • Jul 1, 2026

ComedyAction

Why this pick

An underestimated hero proving that others have badly misjudged their strength gives The Villager of Level 999 and Magic Repo Man an easy comic appeal. Lent turns his support magic into a way to reclaim what he gave away, while the villager’s monster fights expose the absurd gap between a lowly label and overwhelming power; the latter is warmer and more focused on unlikely friendships.
