Foundation(2021)

Foundation pairs imperial court maneuvering with science fiction on a vast visual scale: ornate chambers, enormous starships, and alien landscapes. Its rulers, exiles, and scholars pursue long-range plans under the threat of imperial collapse, making political decisions carry consequences far beyond a single world. The drama is serious and contemplative, with tense, violent flare-ups interrupting the strategy and debate.

Centuries pass, timelines shift, and successive generations inherit a plan they did not create. That structure gives the layered plotting a different kind of pressure: individual choices become part of a much longer struggle over history, fate, and power. A mystery runs beneath the separate storylines, connecting the sprawling saga through more than its shared empire.
