Fallout(2024)

Fallout drops into a post-nuclear Los Angeles where the surface is genuinely hostile: radiation, mutants, and armed bandits make every excursion outside the underground vaults a matter of life and death. The action moves fast, but episodes are built around story consequence rather than set pieces alone, so the danger feels like it costs something each time.

The push and pull between the sealed underground world and the ruined surface above gives the season its recurring structure. Characters carry the weight of what they know from the bunkers against what they find above ground, and those two realities rarely line up. The setting is harsh and specific, a fractured city that has been lived in and fought over, not just scenery for the conflict playing out across it.
