Deli Boys(2025)

Deli Boys runs on a specific kind of comic disaster: two brothers who grew up with every comfort suddenly responsible for a criminal empire they did not know existed. Their father's death does not just leave them grieving; it drops them into a world of real consequences, where the incompetence that was once harmless becomes genuinely dangerous. The comedy comes from watching men who never had to earn anything try to bluff their way through situations that punish bluffing.

The brother dynamic is the engine here, and it works because the two are mismatched in ways that compound every problem. Neither one has what the situation actually requires, but they each think the other is the bigger liability. That friction keeps scenes alive even when the plot slows, and it gives the crime material an emotional cost that pure farce usually skips. Pakistani-American family identity shapes both the humor and the pressure, never treated as backdrop but as the reason these men are who they are when the underworld comes calling.
