Dark Matter(2024)

Dark Matter runs as a psychological thriller where the science fiction machinery serves a very specific domestic nightmare: a man trying to reclaim his own life from someone who has already stepped into it. The alternate-reality premise is not backdrop but mechanism, and the show uses it to keep the ground shifting under every scene.

Much of the pressure comes from the marriage and the father-son relationship, both of which exist in versions the protagonist can see but cannot quite reach. Each choice made in one reality carries a cost in another, and the show tracks those costs carefully rather than letting them blur into abstraction. The result is a thriller where the most unsettling question is not what happens next but which version of a life is worth saving.
